The Atholton High School Orchestra program is an active, diverse, and dedicated group of student musicians constantly striving for artistic and personal growth. Atholton orchestras routinely earn high honors at local and regional music festivals with numerous members earning positions in Howard County Gifted and Talented and Maryland All-State Orchestras.

Students at Atholton have the opportunity to experience music making through membership in an auditioned string orchestra, a non-auditioned string orchestra, full orchestra, and chamber music.

For more information about the Atholton High School Orchestra program, please contact Mr. James Woomert, Director of Orchestra, by email at james_woomert@hcpss.org
