Tri-M National Music Honor Society is a nationally recognized honor society with over 2,100 chapters in all 50 states that helps students develop confidence, creativity, critical thinking and compassion through music performance, leadership, and service.

E-Board Information & Application
Application Overview

In order to obtain membership in Tri-M at Atholton High School, students must submit an application that demonstrates:

  • Music Participation
    • ​​Applicants must have successfully participated in a music course at AHS for one semester.
  • Academic Achievement
    • ​Applicants must have earned an A for two consecutive quarters on their report card in all music courses immediately prior to applying.
    • Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 weighted GPA
  • Leadership
    • Applicants will write a reflection on how they demonstrated leadership through music that year. This leadership experience must be verifiable.
  • Service
    • Applicants will write a reflection on how they see themselves serving the music department and greater music community during their time in Tri-M.
  • Character
    • The student must obtain a minimum of two character evaluations from teachers and one recommendation from a community reference.

Step 2 - Application
Complete the Tri-M Membership Application. You must use a Google account. You will receive a copy of your responses when it has successfully completed.
