If every family of the music department gave $20, we would have $5,000 just like that. Please consider donating at least $20 at some point this year in lieu of ticket prices for concerts, more than $20 if you can. Each department gets roughly $12 per student from the county toward materials of instruction. Probably needless to say, this is no where near enough to put on the bare minimum of 2 concerts per year, let a lone all of the other wonderful clinics, workshops, extra performances, and events we want to provide for our students throughout the year. It costs $250 per student on average to provide the music education the Atholton Community expects. Donations are vital to the health and quality of our programs.
