As of the sending of this message, we are up to 44 trip participant commitments. We need to reach 85 students in order for the trip to run. The latest we can really make that call is end of day Monday as families need to pay the $50 non-refundable airfare fee before we leave for winter break.
The music department has applied for a couple of individual fundraisers that would go toward students' individual trip accounts including selling Pretzel Rods in person (January), selling Mixed Bags online (February), and obtaining Corporate Sponsors (Jan-March). We are also looking into a group pledge page fundraiser as an individual fundraiser. We are trying to ensure that with this fundraiser, students are receiving the maximum amount possible.
Music Boosters has been and will continue to discuss group fundraisers to offset the total cost of the trip for students. We would love your input at the next Music Boosters meeting on Thursday, January 11, 2024 @ 7-8pm in the choir room. The more parents we have to help, the more we can do.
